░ Product Review: What I Have ░

My first review! So just a little update. I've decided to turn this whole personal blog into a beauty blog, instead. I don't know why, but I feel like I've been procrastinating a lot about creating my own make-up tutorial video so I told myself, maybe I'm better off having a beauty blog first, before the whole vlog thing.

This whole afternoon, I've been watching make-up tutorials from two of my favorite make-up gurus, Michelle Phan and Blair, better known as juicystar07. I think my eyes have been glued to YouTube for a good 4 hours. And I had to exit the tabs just to stop myself from watching more! I successfully did that and now here I am making my first beauty review.

So you see, my make-up kit is getting bulkier and bulkier. I've mentioned before that I'll be needing a bigger one soon. Perhaps a train case!

So anyhoo, I've got my Maybelline Clear Smooth Extra with SPF20 in Sand Beige. I've been using Maybelline New York since time immemorial and I must say I am in love with Maybelline products. This certain compact powder gives a very fine and sleek finish. You can almost say "perfect" as a description. Although we must remember to only pat the powder on, so as to not create a cakey finish.

Next I have a 4x MAC palette in shades of shimmery ivory, shimmery violet, dark pink and another shade of violet, only lighter. This was part of the MAC gift set my boyfriend's mom gave to me as a Christmas/birthday gift. MAC eyeshadows are very nice. Blending them altogether gives a great look on the lids. The shades stay long on the lids, so I do not worry about my lid colors being erased that fast, or faded, I must say.

Next I have a MAC Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon. Yes, another part of the set. I just love this blush. Its shade is really soft and it looks natural on the face. You don't have to worry about overdoing the application of this product because it's really light, and really natural-looking.

Next is a MAC Dazzleglass Lip Gloss in Like Venus. I love this product. Shimmers very well and gives a great glossy finish. Only one note about this though, I don't wear this with my hair down, and when I'm in a very windy place. Because the tendency is, all these strands of hair stick to my lips and ruin everything.

Next one's from Maybelline. Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation in 24 True Beige. I love this. It has been my foundation for years. I tried switching to the mineral kind, and I regret it. Mineral make-up just doesn't suit my skin.

Next one's from Elianto. Baked Colours Eyeshadow in Terracotta shade. My blockmate gave this to me as a gift for Christmas, and I must say I love it. It gives shimmer in all the right places and it looks really cute having a convex shape.

Next up, E.l.f. Natural Radiance Blusher in Shy. I can't really say anything about this because I haven't used it yet. One note about this, its container is really hard to open. Almost broke a nail by trying to.
Another product of E.l.f. the All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade. Great for the cheeks, lips and lids. The only thing I hate about this is it has a car scent smell. Over all, it's good. Giving it a 7 out of 10 rating.

Next is a Nichido Blusher in Tomato. My favorite shade of all, but it tends to appear dark if not blended very carefully.

Next is an E.l.f. Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Black Licorice. It's really really great. I've never used eye shadow creams before, and I must say, they look perfect on. Blend blend blend.

My favorite is next! Maybelline Volum'Express Cat Eyes Waterproof Mascara. My boyfriend gave this to me as a gift. I super love this mascara. It lengthens, defines, and beautifies the lashes. It's very waterproof and I wash it away with oil.

E.l.f.'s Plumping Lip Glaze in Ruby Kiss is one of my favorites! So you see, you apply the white glaze first and then put the ruby glaze over for a glossy finish. What I like most about it is its minty taste. Not that I eat it, of course not, but you'll be able to feel the tingling, minty sensation on your lips upon applying it. It moisturizes the lips and gives it a plumper feel.

Ever Bilena's Color Pencil in Black 1H7 is a great eye pencil. Writes right on. Great for smokey eye looks.

Nichido's Liquid Eyeliner in Black is also a good product. Although I must say I am one bad liquid eyeliner applicator. My hands tend to shake a lot of times.

E.l.f.'s Total Face Brush feels really soft on the skin. I love how fluffy it is. It should be!

Here are some products I haven't used yet since I just bought them over the weekend.
E.l.f.'s Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in 2402 Warm Tan. I'm actually going to try it tomorrow for school. Contours!

E.l.f.'s Blush, Bronzing, and Blending Brush which is still packed, unopened. A 3 in 1 brush. Blair, juicystar07, made a review about E.l.f. brushes and she noted that she loves this one. Particularly for contouring.

Next will be E.l.f.'s Foundation Brush. Blair expressed how much she hated this brush, but I have yet to agree with her. I don't really use foundation brushes, I use my fingers! But I guess things can change. Let's see tomorrow if I will agree with Blair or not.

Lastly, E.l.f.'s Natural Looking Lush Faux Lashes. Haven't tried these!

So I am looking inside my kit and all of the products I have right in front of me and I will not go through my other palettes since I am running late for dinner and I have yet to buy new palettes! That's pretty much everything...

I am going to be giving review updates about the products I have yet to test and I hope this review was able to help anyone out there decide which products to buy or not to buy.

░ Update: Make-up Gurus on Youtube ░

I've heard of Michelle Phan before. But I never actually took the initiative to check out her make-up tutorials on YouTube. And so awhile ago, I finally did. She's amazing! You gotta love Blair, too. I love Blair. She's my favorite.
