Supple, Soft Skin (RECOMMENDATIONS)

Having supple,soft, and youthful skin is a sign that you are on top of your skincare game. Whether it be skin on the face or the body, I have personal favorite products that I would like to share with you guys today!

Let's start off with the body...

I've been using the Cetaphil Daily Advance Lotion--this is clinically proven to hydrate and protect dry skin for 24 hours! It is also non-greasy, fragrance free and non-comedogenic.

I've been using this lotion for quite a while now, and it still remains to be one of my top favorites [lotion for the body] I've already featured this in a couple of my other blog posts along with a skin care video:

Next we have moisturizers for the face...

If you are a  regular watcher of my vlogs, you would totally be familiar with these products. I am such a fan of face masks. The particular brand I use is LEADERS. You can find these at Lucky Chinatown Mall. Not only are these LEADERS FACE MASKS EXCELLENT for moisturizing your skin, they also bring about a LOT of skin benefits like brightening, anti-aging, anti-acne, whitening, anti-dryness, sebum control...and many many more! Choose among endless selections of face masks and MAKE IT A DAILY HABIT! I use face maks EVERY SINGLE DAY, and this prevents my skin from getting irritations! 

Another favorite of mine is the Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel. I use this before I put on makeup. This is PERFECT for people with oily/combo skin as it has a water-light texture, and is easily absorbed by the skin. I've been introduced to this products YEARS BACK, still using it to this day, and I am 100% sure you will love it too! Hydration for the eyes? YES PLEASE! Also one of my favorites from LEADERS, is the HYDROGEL EYE THERAPY PATCH. Admit it, we all sleep late sometimes. I edit videos every single night and there are times when my eyes get so stressed that it shows on my undereye area. No bueno, especially if you have early appointments the next day! These eye patches are my heroes. They give high elasticity improvement, moisture and nutrition to the eyes, and they have a cooling and soothing effect! It also dramatically reduces wrinkles with continued use! I *love* how my eyes look so de-puffed and brightened after using this! (I use it at night)

My Top 5 Skin Essentials

I can't stress how important it is to attend to your skin care. Being a vlogger, I'm 'on cam' almost everyday--filming vlogs, makeup tutorials, and so much more. I appear with and without makeup, too! It is really important to have a skin care regimen to keep skin problems at bay. Today I am sharing with you my TOP 5 Skin Essentials.

#1 Makeup  Remover

It is imperative that you use makeup remover to thoroughly remove every single bit of makeup off your face. I know other people who only use water or goes straight to their face cleanser--and I firmly believe that this is not the way to go. I love oil based makeup removers especially for removing waterproof makeup.

#2 Gentle Skin Cleanser (i.e. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser)

Cleansing your skin is a MUST. This process helps remove oil and dirt build-up throughout the day. There are thousands of cleansers out in the market, but the gentlest one I've tried is the one from Cetaphil. I love how it thoroughly cleanses my skin without being too drying. I've been using this since time immemorial and it still remains to be one of my favorite cleansers ever! 

#3 Moisturize (i.e. Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion)

Bring back moisture on your skin! Not only does moisturizers prevent premature aging, it also makes your skin plump! Moisturizing, even if you have oily skin type, is a must! I have combination skin, and I love using the Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion on my face and my body! I just use a pea-size amount on my face as a little goes a long way! 

#4 Eye Cream

When you hit 20 y/o, you gotta start investing on eye cream. You will thank yourself in 50 years!!! Eye cream is my MUST-NOT-SKIP skin care favorite. Dab this baby underneath your eyes and even on the lids every single night without fail and you won't be saying hello to premature wrinkles any time soon.

#5 Protect (i.e. DayLong Gel with SPF50+)

One of the most important steps--sun protection. Harmful UVA and UVB rays can and will damage your skin without the proper armor. The sun AGES and BURNS the skin. I see to it that I use sunscreen on my face and my body before I go out on a hot sunny day (and even on fair days!) The Daylong Gel with SPF50+ is perfect to use before makeup because it is not too heavy on the skin. The skin is able to drink it up right away, and you'll be left with nothing but protected skin!
