░ Product Review: Marionnaud Slanted Blusher Brush ░

• This brush is the best blusher brush I've used so far.
• It is 10x better than my E.l.f. Slanted Blusher and Blending Brush. It is made from synthetic hair, and feels really soft to the skin (unlike the E.l.f. one which feels super rough after a few wash).
• You will be able to apply your blush effortlessly with this brush because it picks up color really well and because of its slanted design.
• The handle has a sleek finish because of its black color, the brush name imprinted on the lower end of the handle, and a metal ferrule which prevents the hairs from falling out. *No falling out of hairs, so far.*
•You can buy this and the other Marionnaud brushes @ any Watsons Store and the Marionnaud store at SM Mall of Asia. This brush costs PHP169.00.

░ Beauty Tutorial: ‎2010 Miss Universe Look ░

2010 Miss Universe Jimena Navarrete looked absolutely stunning in the Miss Universe Pageant. I just had to film a replica of the look she wore. Her eyes were in smoky perfection. She has the most beautiful smile ever! So basically the look I filmed is all about the smoky eyes. I used my MAC quad and my DollFace 96 Color Palette for the eyes; drugstore lashes and Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes mascara for the lashes; Ever Bilena Lipstick in the shade of Mauvey; MAC Blush in Pink Swoon; E.l.f. Bronzing Powder; Marionnaud Makeup Brushes, Revlon PhotoReady Makeup; etc...

Watch my tutorial and see how I did!

░ Update: Guess What? ░

Hey, dolls! I still don't have the time to do reviews of the concealer and the brush I bought last Friday so I guess I'll just have to put it off for a few days. I bought Marionnaud's foundation brush (amazing synthetic foundation brush) and Nichido's concealer. I'll be posting soon!
Also, watch out for my upcoming collaboration CONTEST with coming out soon!

░ Product Review: Pond's Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon ░

For more info, visit
What is activated carbon? And how does it help in the deep cleansing of the face?
According to Wikipedia, activated carbon is also called activated charcoal or activated coal, a form of carbon that has been processed to make it extremely porous and thus to have a very large surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions. So technically, activated carbon is also used in the filtration of water and the purification of the air. It "absorbs" impurities from the skin and detoxifies it.

Is this facial cleanser actually black in color?
Nope! It's actually more of grayish in color.

How long have you been using this product?
For about three days now.

What have you noticed after using this product?
My skin was honestly more radiant. The activated carbon really lifted away the impurities in my skin. My face felt really smooth and clean. I don't know how to explain that "clean" feeling but I guess you already know it.

How much do I have to pay for this product and where can I buy it?
For a 100g tube, it is sold at P150++. Available at all Watsons stores and supermarkets.

░ Beauty Tutorial: 10-Step Simple Makeup Perfect for Everyday ░

I am officially back from the long, long, long "break" I took from filming! I missed YouTube and all my subscribers. I'm definitely going to be uploading videos more often now.

For my comeback video, I decided to do a tutorial on how to achieve a sexy and sultry look. But after a few thoughts, I ended up choosing filming a simple, natural look instead. I want to share my method of doing my makeup for school everyday. This is my most preferred look whenever I am on the run or rush of being on time. With only 10 simple steps, in not more than 5 minutes, you'll look radiant and glowing even while on the go.
For this tutorial I used Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" tune to remind every girl out there that we are all lovely! Such a happy pick-me-up song, don't you think?

"A ten-step beauty tutorial on how to achieve a simple & radiant look perfect for everyday."

  • Step 1. I apply Myra Daily Sun Protect Facial Moisturizer with SPF15 on my face after cleansing it thoroughly with my latest facial cleanser [to be revealed in the next blog entry]
  • Step 2. I apply Revlon PhotoReady Makep in Medium Beige 006 with my E.l.f. Foundation Brush. I've switched to Revlon three months ago, and I can honestly say I have found my perfect match. I will be doing a review about this in the next entry.
  • Step 3. I apply Maybelline Clear Smooth Powder in Honey with SPF18 with Nichido's Kabuki Brush to set the foundation. I threw out the sponge applicator that came with the press powder since I don't like using it. I always use my Kabuki brush now. Less caking.

  • Step 4. I redefine my brows with Nichido's Brow Pencil in Dark Brown.
  • Step 5. I apply MAC Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon + E.l.f.'s Natural Radiance Blusher in Shy (for added shimmer on the apples) with Marionnaud's Slanted Blusher Brush (another product I'll be making a review on next.

  • Step 6. I curl my lashes with Nichido Lash Curler.

  • Step 7. I apply my favorite Maybelline Volum'Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Mascara in Feline Black.
  • Step 8. I tightline my eyes with Nichido's Eye Pencil in Black. Tightlining gives an illusion of longer and fuller looking lashes.
  • Step 9. I apply Nivea Star Fruits Lip Balm in Strawberry on my lips. You can use any tinted lipbalm if you want.

  • Step 10. SMILE!

Here's a photo of me and my boyfriend. I had pizza with him after filming!

░ Product Review: St. Ives Timeless Skin Firming Face Mask ░

Some of you have probably never seen me w/o makeup, and well, this review is the perfect one to feature a makeup-less face. This is going to be a review about St. Ives' Timeless Skin Mineral Clay Firming Mask
I put makeup on on a daily basis, and my face gets exposed to pollution everywhere, so I see to it that I deeply cleanse my face at least twice-thrice a week. I give my face a facial treat using St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Mask. It is by far the greatest and most trusted product I use. I've been using St. Ives products, in general, for years now and I can personally say that I'm a happy consumer!
Non-irritating, definitely suits my skin type.
St. Ives' Beauty Philosophy
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS. Not tested on animals!
Before putting the mask on, I wash my face thoroughly with Pond's Antibacterial Facial Scrub first. While my face is still moist, I go ahead and cover my whole face with St. Ives' Mineral Clay Mask. It is minty-green in color.
Be sure to remove all your makeup before putting the mask on.
Avoid the eye and mouth area.

You will feel a tightening and tingling sensation once your whole face is packed with the mask. Allow it to dry for about 15 minutes or so. When it's fully dry, you can now wash your face. You will notice how supple your face will feel. And you can definitely tell that your face has been deeply cleansed.
Beautiful skin can be achieved not only by religious beauty rituals, but most definitely by hydrating yourself well. I drink loads of water everyday! I can't emphasize how important water is.
Mucho amor, Say
