After a long stressful week, it is almost everyone’s desire to treat themselves in all types of relaxation over the weekend. Nothing feels so much better than relieving yourself from all the hurly-burly of life.
I received a fateful invitation from Pevonia Botanica a few days back. I am once again humbled to get the opportunity to work with a huge company.
Pevonia Botanica is a Swiss skin care brand that's being manufactured in the US. They currently distribute their products to luxury spas and resorts worldwide. In the Philippines, they work closely with The Spa, Maxim's M Spa, Marriott's Quan Spa, The Peacock Garden in Bohol, Mandala Spa in Boracay, and many others---all topnotch hotels and garden spas. All Pevonia products are organic (certified by the US Organic Trade Association), paraben-free, PABA-free (preservative), non-comedogenic (non-clogging), no artificial color or fragrance.
I had a meeting with the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator of Pevonia Botanica Philippines over lunch at Rack’s. She was such a delight to talk to! They even gave me the Pevonia Botanica Phyto Gel Cleanser as a token during our first meeting! I will be doing a separate review on this cleanser soon.
Elaine booked an appointment for me the next weekend prior to our meeting and I was more than excited to finally get to relax and get pampered again!
June 2, 2012 (Saturday) finally came and I headed out to experience “The Spa” treatment. The “The Spa” branch where I got my treatment was at Greenbelt 1. Upon entering the spa I was greeted by two beautiful hands…
How clever, right? These are hand door knobs!
The serenity instantly flowed through my veins when I entered. How could it not, with all these beautiful things that greeted me?
This was the path that I walked through to the front desk area
This is the staircase all the way up to the locker room. Just how beautiful do you think this is?
I left all my things in the locker before starting with my treatment
I went to take a refreshing shower and a quick trip to the steam room before starting with the Crystalline Body Scrub treatment.
I was served a hot, delicious and super soothing ginger tea while I waited for my aesthetician.
After a few moments of waiting, I was given the Crystalline Body Treatment:
Crystalline Skin Body Treatment - Achieve total skin brilliance from this rejuvenating full body treatment! Skin is renewed and polished with a natural gentle scrub rich with the finest ingredients that nature has to offer. This treatment renders a smooth, brighter complexion and a youthful healthy glow. Your spa journey is completed by The Spa’s relaxing massage which also uses Pevonia Botanica’s one of a kind massage oil which delivers the latest technology in massage oil in the cosmetic world. The treatment includes using calming Chamomile for the senses, rejuvenating Rosemary to help improve blood circulation, polishing Jojoba wax (tiny non-irritating natural granules), skin tightening and softening Aloe Vera gel, and refreshing and Lemon essence which acts as a body toner.

My aesthetician Mae had magical hands! I felt so rejuvenated all over after the scrub. When I jumped into the shower to wash off the scrub granules, my whole body felt sooooo smooth! All the dead skin cells have been removed!
Here I am having water while waiting for my masseuse
The massage felt EXTREMELY relaxing. It was inevitable to fall asleep! All I can say is, all the stress from my skin to the core of my bones definitely melted off.
I experience heaven on earth for about 2-2.5 hours. It was beyond amazing. I would definitely head back to The Spa very soon.
After the treatment and massage, I made myself up back in the locker room before heading out. The locker room has everything you need, by the way:
Clean sinks
Towels
Toiletries
Hair brush (in a sterilizer cabinet, even!)
What a lovely place to be.
Thank you so much Pevonica Botanica and The Spa for giving me this wonderful and relaxing opportunity! I had the best time of my life and I highly recommend everyone (especially people who are overly stressed) to come out and try The Spa’s services!
Miss Peach, The Spa’s manager, together with the staff. They were definitely very accommodating and friendly.
I may be over talking about the best part of my experience, and now let us move on to the best part for my blog readers and YouTube subscribers!

Look at that ginger tea cup! It's half-empty.. which means you gulped half of it before you took the photo. Well, I find both the Pevonia treatment and the tea addicting! ♥
