Review on the James Cooper Compact Cream Foundation
It is difficult to find a foundation that would suit you (skin type and tone) 100%. That is why I consider the search for a good foundation an endless cycle. I’ve stuck to my Maybelline Aqua Gel Foundation for years until I discovered CoverGirl Aqua Smooth Makeup Foundation. My flame with CoverGirl didn’t last that long, though, because of multiple factors.
Then I discovered James Cooper—bought and tried the compact cream foundation, and I was blown away. I think it is proper for me to share the goodness of this foundation.
I have dry skin, and cream based-gel based foundations suits be best.
Let us go through the pros of this product:

- Sturdy packaging—packaging reminds me that of MAC’s
- Available in many shades—I am CF-04
- Will last you a long time because…(read on)
- A little goes a long way—you will only need a little amount to cover a large area
- Blendable—you can blend it easily using a brush
- Suits dry skin type—because it is cream based, the consistency of the product will not dry up the skin
- Medium to full coverage—amazing coverage even without setting powder/concealing
- Doubles up as a concealer—you don’t have to apply concealer prior to application (which I demonstrated in the video embedded below)
- No pungent smell—a very important factor for me
- Affordable at PHP 550.00—it will last you a long time, so the price is worth it
- Expiration date indicated in the box—3 years after manufacturing date
Cons:
- You will need a mixing plate and a spatula to avoid double dipping
Good to know:
- James Cooper is made in France
Where to buy:

I am writing this blog entry to make clarifications and changes in the rules with regards to reserving. I have to implement such rules because I have experienced overdue payments in the last two batches.
