MeMeMe Swatches (Goddess Rocks, Highlighters, Tints, Dew Pots)

I never would have known about the brand MeMeMe if it weren’t for Make Up Hub by Naturele Collezione. MeMeMe is a UK-branded makeup line. I’ve collected quite a handful of their awesome products (all thanks to Sarah) and they’re really worth sharing.

In the video embedded at the end of this post, I will show you the swatches of 6 MeMeMe products I personally love and recommend to everyone.

Let us begin with lip and cheek tints & highlighters.

I never really liked lip and cheek tints mainly because I don’t have smooth skin and blending would be very difficult (on the face) so I usually just use these as lip tints! Nevertheless, if you are someone with really great skin, the tints would be perfect for you. Tints give the most natural color to the face as it is ‘absorbed’ by the skin. Upon application, you have to proceed immediately to thorough blending to avoid dark tints forming on just one area on your face. Again, the key is to blend blend blend! You need to be reminded that the tint gets darker as it dries up—so be careful and use accordingly especially when it coms to the Pussy Cat lip and cheek tint! Pussy Cat has a dark shade of red tint. Poppy Tint, on the other hand, has this rosy, pinkish tint. You may have to reapply Poppy Tint to get the color you desire.

Moving on to highlighters! MeMeMe has “Beat the Blues” Sun Beam & Moon Beam! Highlighters would definitely be included in my Top 5 makeup must-haves if I ever make one! Why? Mainly because highlighters make you shine! NOT shine in a bad way, like oily shine. Shine in a way that you’ll stand out from the crowd. Of course you have to put it in all the right places on your face; where it can catch light, and hence give your face this beautiful, radiant gleam/shine/glow. Sun Beam has a goldish finish while Moon Beam has more of a pinkish finish. If you are fair-skinned, Moon Beam would be a perfect match for you! And for all the morena beauties (or even people with medium to dark skin color) Sun Beam would go perfectly with you!

The thing that I love the most about these highlighters is that they are easily blendable, and they photograph very very well! I’ll update this post with the photos with me wearing them so that I could give justice to everything I am typing down right now.

Another tip that I learned from Sarah herself is mixing the highlighters with your foundation (liquid)! Now that clever trick would definitely give you an over-all gleam and glow! I personally haven’t tried it yet, but when I do, I’ll definitely do an update!

Moving on to the next, we have the Goddess Rocks Luxury Bronzing Rocks! If you want a sun-kissed beautiful glow, this product is definitely worth trying out. I find it very clever how they came up with bronzing powder in forms of rocks, don’t you? You may ask, “How the heck do we use that?!” Simply use a brush! I actually asked myself how I’d use it the first time I opened the package, and so I Googled! Google really answers everything.

Seventh Heaven Enriched Moisturizing Face Base. Oh mama. The first time I smelled this was when Sarah and I spent the day together! We were doing our makeup and she told me to try it out. Gosh. The smell is definitely HEAVENLY! Okay, let me read the back of the box for you:

Rich yet lightweight, this moisturizing face base is enriched with Shea butter, Vitamin A, and Beta-Carotene to rejuvenate, nourish and hydrate skin. Active nutrients and extracts work to brighten, smooth, and even out skin tone to prime and create the perfect base for makeup application. Lightly scented with a zest of lemon, orange, lime and mandarin—this little piece of heaven you will want to treat your face every single day!

There. So it basically acts as a moisturizer AND primer. I only wish I could put an app or something in here so that you could smell it!

Dew Pots! This is in the shade of Midnight Mist #8. I haven’t really seen nor used MAC Paint Pots before, but I think this is similar to that. Correct me if I’m wrong! This beautiful shade of blue can act as an eyeshadow base or even used to line the eyes! I can’t wait to show you the video wherein I tried using it to line the eyes!

There you have it, darlings! I hope you enjoyed this post, for the video with the swatches and the prices of the products and where to get them, keep scrolling down!
