Gifts from Krysha: Benefit, Bath & Body Works, Wet N Wild

It’s rare to find genuinely nice people on the internet, but I’m very proud to say that I found Krysha (MissKPM67 in YouTube). She fits the definition perfectly. We became friends online because she also does makeup tutorials (and also covers of songs). I honestly liked her the moment I watched one of her haul videos! And don’t even get me started with her awesome blog—it’s very photo-heavy and clean! I always get excited when she posts a new entry; she makes everything so relatable. I am really happy our friendship blossomed; mind you, I haven’t met her in person yet [but we will, this November, because she’ll be coming back to the Philippines for a vacation!]

She sent me a package all the way from Philadelphia a few weeks back and I know I’ve already blogged about them here, but this post contains the embedded video at the end so continue scrolling down!

Sunday Haul (September 4, 2011): Cosmetics, Skin/Nail/Hair Care

DSC06323

Time for another Sunday Haul!

As I mentioned in my previous posts, SM City Manila had a 3-Day Sale (Sept. 2-4) I unfortunately reached the 3rd day! I did not plan on buying anything at all (well, except for makeup remover) since I am saving up. All my walking around made me lose my will power, and all the marketing strategies that you could think of conquered.

What better way to share what I bought than through an entry and a video!

1. Fanny Serrano 2-Way Cake in Rajah PHP 399.00—I actually bought this on the 31st of August, so it doesn’t really count as part of this Sunday Haul. But for the sake of mentioning, I could’ve bought it at 10% cheaper if I purchased it last Sunday! Rajah is the perfect shade for contouring. Fellow gurus have raved about it, and I decided to give it a try! It’s a new shade, and one of the darkest, too. I suggest you try it out, because there are only a few matte contouring powders out there.DSC06060DSC060662. Bench Fix Professional Agent Bond Styling Gum PHP 95.00—I have already reviewed this product in this post just because it WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL. I am very happy I tried this out! Hairsprays move over, waxes have taken over. I was pretty enthusiastic as I wrote the review on this baby, so better yet read the post for me, baby!

http://saytiocoartillero.blogspot.com/2011/09/product-that-works-holds-curls-up-for.htmlDSC062793. Nails Cuticle Remover and Nail Polish Remover PHP 18.00 for both—nothing special, but Nails is the brand I’ve been using since forever for my nails and toes.DSC062824. Etude House Eye and Lip Makeup Remover PHP 198.00—After using the Mascara Remover from the same brand, I decided to switch back again, just because I want to. Nothing really wrong with the Mascara Remover! DSC062835. Ever Bilena Brown EyePencil PHP 80.00—the perfect shade for my brows! I used it today for school and the color was just amazing. I used it together with the darker shade of brown for the outer corners.DSC062866. Fanny Serrano Long Wear Gel Eyeliner PHP 225.00—I got this baby for 10% less! Would you believe it?! They’re finally back on stock! I was going to buy another jar of the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner which costs PHP 449.00! But when I saw this baby, I just had to buy it. 225.00 is freaking affordable for such a huge container of gel liner! I already have the review on this product in my mind! Good stuff.DSC06292DSC062957. L’Oreal Paris Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer PHP 945.00 (but I got it for PHP 803.00 because of the sale)—just like the styling gum, I also have reviewed this product already. I was 10x more enthusiastic when I wrote that post. So read it for me, doll! All I can say it, THIS IS THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!

http://saytiocoartillero.blogspot.com/2011/09/eureka-moment-primer-perfection.htmlDSC06300DSC063118. Goody Hand Mirror PHP 309.75 (but I got it for PHP 245.00 because of the sale)—I know it’s a huge mirror. But this is the way I roll! This is my 6th Goody hand mirror. All the other 5 has gone to mirror heaven.DSC06318

Package from Philadelphia: Krysha’s Gifts

DSC06324

I’ve been a YouTuber for roughly over a year now, and I’ve met a lot of people online. Different races, different countries. I find it amazing that I was able to meet fellow Filipinas (not residing in the Philippines) whom I share common interests with. I haven’t really formally introduced this friend of mine, and this may be of a premature post since I was going to publish it together with a video. But due to some circumstances, the blog’s going up first.

I met Krysha of http://www.helloysha.com and http://www.youtube.com/user/MissKPM67 about a few months ago and we’ve been like really close ever since. I love watching her videos in YouTube mainly because she’s a real person. Nothing really tops that, you know? Watching people and just knowing that they’re genuine. She also blogs like I do! Her blog is one of the blogsites I never fail to not check. She is one of the few people I really like even though I haven’t met personally. She’s just like a sister I never had.

She sent me a package all the way from Philadelphia! I received it a few days ago and I was really excited to see them. Unfortunately, the package had to go through customs so it wasn’t myself that got to open the box. Nevertheless, seeing what’s inside made me squeal!

When I got home from the post office, I opened the package and went through all the good stuff contained in it!

1. Elf Hypershine Lip Gloss Collection—the night before I received this package, I was about to place an order for a similar set in some website! I had the intuition to cancel it, and I did. THIS EXPLAINS THAT INTUITION! Who would’ve guessed?! 5 beautiful shades of lip gloss! And Ysha even taped this beautiful heart pendant necklace on the box.DSC06327

2. Bath and Body Works lotions—these babies are heavenly! Just lookin’ at the colors! DSC06332White Citrus Body Lotion:DSC06336Japanese Cherry Blossom:DSC06337Secret Wonderland:DSC063383. Benefit Cosmetics Posie Tint, High Beam & BeneTint—I squealed when I saw this! I saw these in Ysha’s haul video and I remember myself liking it! I can’t wait to try them out!DSC063404. Wet N Wild Lipstick in 905D—(edit) Ysha just literally DM-ed me a few minutes ago asking me if I saw this in the package. Thank God I didn’t throw the bubble wraps away! This baby was tucked inside! LOVELY SHADE!DSC06342DSC06344And lastly, the most heartwarming letter that brought me to tears. You don’t know how touched I am, Ysha!!! Love you to bits! I definitely cannot wait to meet you in person.DSC06341P.S. Vlog version of this post coming soon…

Sunday Haul (August 21, 2011)

1. KARA NINA ORGANIZER PHP 599.75 (SM DEPARTMENT STORE)—I bought this mainly because I wanted to have an organizer where I put all my stuff in (i.e. hair tools, accessories, and the likes) and ditch the habit of dragging huge bags with me whenever I go on gigs. This organizer has multiple pockets which you can fill in with all kinds of stuff making it perfect for makeup artists and even stylists. Kara Nina offers a wide variety of brush holders, brush bags, cosmetics kits, and pouches of all kinds. IMG_4064IMG_4063

2. WATSONS MOISTURIZING BABY LOTION WIPES PHP 79.00 (SM DEPARTMENT STORE/WATSONS)—Wet wipes always come in handy whenever. I’m a neat freak, and that means I need constant disinfecting/cleansing of hands or things around me. This huge pack will last me a month (or less, depending on my frequency of use)DSC059093. RED INDEX CARD HOLDER PHP 107.00 (Office Warehouse)I needed to gather all my lipsticks together and put them in just one container. I decided to ditch my two small black index card holders and replace them with this huge red one. Who said index card holders were only for index cards?DSC05910DSC059134. CORONA MEMO HOLDER PHP 110.00 (Office Warehouse)—At this point you may say I was just impulse-buying. And you’re right. Although, I do love having memos at my reach anytime. Being the OC person that I am, not writing down the things that I need to remember makes me go crazy.DSC05914DSC059165. MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH ALL IN ONE SHINE FREE FOUNDATION REFILL IN HONEY PHP 149.00 (Maybelline Counter, SM Dept. Store)—"Just had to buy it.” Although, I do have the compact version of this—in Sand Beige, which I use for contouring.DSC059186. PUMA SOCKS PHP 199.75/3 pairs (SM Dept. Store)—Mainly bought this for my intense workouts. I thick ‘em thick to cushion my feet from all the jumps and lunges and brutal routines.DSC05922DSC05923DSC05924DSC059257. MONEA CPR HEAT PROTECTANT SPRAY PHP 109.00 (WATSONS)—I ran out, and I needed a new bottle! The price was weird. I am 100% sure this only costs 99.00.DSC059328. COVERGIRL LIPPERFECT LIPSTICK IN HOT PASSION 305 PHP 395.00 (COVERGIRL, SM DEPT. STORE)—My favorite purchase today!!! This is the perfect red lip color! More swatches in the next blog entry! Stay tuned for the review. DSC05934

Beauty Bar Haul: Palladio, Denman, Andrea

IMG_3531I got into an impulsive shopping mode while waiting for my model fitting @ Edsa Shang about a week ago. Some kind of energy just dragged my legs to Beauty Bar, and here are the things that I bought from there…

1. Palladio Lipstick in Coral Punch PHP 375.00—The shade caught my attention, and I just knew I had to get it. I could say…the perfect coral shade. DSC02943DSC02945

2. Andrea Permalash Adhesive for individual lashes PHP 195.00—this was totally a mistake since I was supposed to get the one for STRIP lashes, not individual PERMANENT lashes. I don’t really know what I’m going to do with this. So if you’re interested, you can definitely buy it from me. I think this caters to lash extension types of lashes. Makes ‘em stick to the lash line really good. Contact me at 09156218309 if you’re interested. DSC02956

3. Denman Three Row Comb PHP 195.00—Perfect for back combing/teasing!DSC02960
