Hi everyone!

If you visit the links above, you will know that it took me 7 months (the kit was sent to me last September 23, 2011) to finally get the chance to sit down and do a demonstration video on the Luminess Airbrush System!

I tried to use it for quite a few times and I must admit I had to practice over and over to get the hang of it. I’ve always been used to traditional makeup application—airbrushing is a whole new thing!

If anyone is wondering, this kit is the Professional Edition kit according to https://www.airbrusheveryday.com/

Watch the video tutorial at the end of this post to see the demonstration.

Love, Say

  1. Plug in the system
  2. Primer:4-6 drops into the gun
  3. Turn on system
  4. Spray on the face (airbrush gun 6 inches away from the face) Lightly pull the lever backward *the farther back you push the lever, the harsher the finish will look like*
  5. 4-6 drops of foundation
  6. Spray in circular motions with the airbrush gun 6 inches away from the face
  7. 4-6 drops of bronzer
  8. Spray lightly on the jawline, hollows of the cheeks and temples
  9. Clean the airbrush gun by putting water into the nozzle and pulling the lever all the way back, spraying out all the pigments in the gun
  10. 2-4 drops of blush into the gun
  11. Spray lightly on the cheeks, still maintaining the distance
  12. Clean the airbrush gun by putting water into the nozzle and pulling the lever all the way back, spraying out all the pigments in the gun
  13. 4-6 drops of brightening glow
  14. Spray on the high points of the face (where you usually highlight)

No need to set the makeup with powder as you will already be given a very smooth finish.

P.S. the amount of makeup that you put into the gun varies—you do not have to necessarily follow the # of drops listed in the manual.

Here is a before and after shot of my face:

Clearly, my face looks more flawless!

You may want to use a hair cover/towel/pad while airbrushing since the makeup will get on your hair—it’s easily removable, though!

Here’s a video of the demonstration:
