Hi everyone!

One of the most common questions I get is how I keep my hair healthy and shiny after all the color treatments and heat styling—which is inevitable being a beauty guru—I do with my hair.

I’ll admit, I have naturally straight hair, but that doesn’t mean I don’t need to maintain and care for it anymore! I came up with this post to share the  products I’ve recently been loving (I like to experiment!) Read till the end and you might get the chance to try out these products as well!

After working on a project with HBC, part of the loot they gave me was the PROTEIN HAIR TREATMENT.

What does protein treatment do to the hair?

For women who color and straighten their hair, protein treatments strengthen areas of the hair that are weakened by chemicals. They work to build your hair shaft back up because much of the daily care and "extras" you do to create a hairstyle chip away at your hair's cuticle, or outer layer. Even if you chemically treat your hair and it seems healthy enough, a monthly or bi-monthly treatment will keep it in tip-top shape. From http://blackhair.about.com/od/basiccare/f/doineedproteintreatment.htm

This product came in handy when I found my hair almost damaged from a hair project I did with a company wherein I had to use 5 different heat styling tools in just  one day of shooting. I made sure I applied this protein hair treatment on the middle part down to the roots to rejuvenate my hair! See to it that you use only a tiny amount on the scalp area to avoid dandruff! Rinse well after about 3-5 minutes and you’re good to go. You may go longer if you want to! Noticeably shinier and softer hair right after use! A jar costs PHP400+, quite affordable for such a huge container! This will last you for months!

Up next are products from Absynthe Bath & Beauty!

I initially blogged about their Hair Potion which is one of my favorites!!!

“I use this oil for deep treatment/conditioning. I apply it all over my hair & scalp at night and sleep on it overnight. I make sure I apply the oil from the roots to the ends! Upon waking up in the morning, I go wash my hair in the shower with my usual shampoo (skipping conditioner) and my hair feels as good as new!!! That’s all I do!

I also use this as heat protectant oil before heat-styling! It gives my hair a coat of protection before the tools damage my hair.”

Up next we have the Hair Premium Nourishment Goddess Shampoo!

Did you know that our Hair Goddess Shampoo can also be used as body wash?

We chose the gentlest, natural cleanser for your hair and body, absolutely no sles/sls that you normally find in commercially made shampoo/body wash.

This shampoo gives my hair that squeaky clean feeling! It gives the hair a very fresh and pleasant smell!

What I use together with the Nourishment Goddess Shampoo is the Nourishment Goddess Conditoner!

I can’t get enough of this product—it makes my hair super soft and manageable!
