Travel light. The organizers recommend wearing light, fitted clothing and shoes that are comfortable. CBM will restrict people from bringing their bags to the buffet floor, so make sure you are wearing something with pockets to store your valuables. Leave that iPad at home!

Prepare your ticket. Don’t forget to print, and bring, your ticket voucher. Your ID is a must, too!

Don’t become a pirate. Make sure to follow common courtesy and avoiding running to keep the atmosphere sane. Have fun. It’s not supposed to be stressful. It’s a party.

Hi everyone!

I have a brand new haul video to share with everyone! Enjoy watching! Keep reading to see photos of each item and where I got them from :)

I rewarded myself with a shopping trip to For Me—a clothing store I am SO INLOVE with, and picked up new items from their new collections!

Remember my “Someday” sweater??? They now have the “Love” sweater!!!! I just HAD to get it because it looks SUPER ADORBS!!! And totally my style + suitable for the weather we’re having nowadays!

I buy ALL my jeans from For Me because 1) Their size L fits me like a glove—no struggling whatsoever, 2) these are from their I Love My Super Skinnies Collection, but they’re SUPER comfortable to wear, not toooooo tight like other skinny jeans out there! I got a blue one and a black one :)

(If you don’t know, I graduated with a degree in Marketing from UST.) This was sent to me by Thomasian Rank found at Pink Gold Store 2nd floor UST Carpark Bldg. It is SUPER adorable, and the size M is alright for my frame! Thank you so much Thomasian Rank! To all my fellow Thomasians, I think you’ll love this.

The L’Oreal V Shaper is a skincare cream that helps you achieve a more V-like shape for your face. This shape apparently is considered very attractive! I have yet to try this one out, I’ll definitely report back to you and let you know if it works!

I love me my lace hat from Daiso! Only P88.00 and I mainly bought this because of my friend Joyce who has a similar hat. I never wear hats, and I was inspired by Joyce, so I got one, too! I love it, and I see myself purchasing more hats! :)

I got the latest Bifesta Eye and Lip makeup remover—P298.00 from Watsons. This was definitely much cheaper in HK, but hey! It works really well. It removes stubborn and heavy eye makeup with ease! I love to pair this with my Bifesta Cleansing Lotion. Perfect combo!

Lastly, (not in photo), a SAVEE eyeshadow from Malaysia from my sister! It’s one of those that you can put in a Z-Palette! Super cute, I love the color!

Belo Essentials Acne Pro Set (Review)

Hi everyone!

I tried out the latest Belo Essentials AcnePro system a few weeks ago and now writing this article to let you know what my first impression about this set is!

It comes with the AcnePro Pimple Fighting Gel Face Wash, the Acne Pro Treatment Toner, and the Acne Pro Pimple Gel.

I developed this red pimple right on the side of my nose, and thought that this could be the perfect experimental acne to see if the products from Belo works [on me] or not. Nothing is more annoying that a pimple right on the NOSE!

Let’s move on to the 3-step Clear Skin regimen of Belo Essentials Acne Pro

STEP ONE! The Belo Essentials AcnePro Pimple Fighting Gel Face Wash is oil free, non comedogenic, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.

August 2014 Favorites! (Makeup, Skin & Hair Products!)

I’m a bit late with my previous Monthly Favorites video but here it is!

1. Tangle Teezer from www.luxola.com 

I’ve been loving my Gold and Black Compact Style (Tangle Teezer) since the first day I got it!!! As mentioned in the video, I’ve suffered from hair tangles (severe ones, too!) last 2 weeks or so, and this totally helped me detangled the knots WITHOUT the pain. Using regular brushes usually take me a long time and it’s painful, and I end up damaging my hair even more! With the Tangle Teezer, my tangles are now a thing of the past! 2. Hair Treats Hair Spa from Watsons P229.00 (Buy 1 Take 1)
I could live with ONLY this for my hair FOREVER!!! Seriously, the Watsons Hair Treats Hair Spa works wonders for my hair! I don’t shampoo everyday anymore—what I use is this product! It leaves my hair incredibly smooth, soft, shiny, and most of all, TANGLE-FREE (for days!) I love it! I highly recommend the Aloe Vera and the Lavender variant :)

3. Pink Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist (from BDJ Box)

 

I rarely fall in love with scents, but I did, with the Tropical Sunset mist from Pink Sugar! It smells super fresh and light! The only downside is it not being long-lasting, albeit it’s quite understandable, considering it’s only a MIST not a perfume ;)

4. Philosophy 3-in-1 Cleanser (Purity)

This is my first time using a Philosophy product, and I can say that I am truly impressed! The Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser for the Face and Eyes made it to my faves list simply because it removes all traces of makeup in a jiff! It’s VERY GENTLE TOO!

5. In Transit Camera Close-up

I discovered this product from http://www.luxola.com! I’ve never heard of it before, and it has instantly become my favorite because it works amazing as a primer! I’ve used it many times during hot and humid days (weeks ago) and it kept my makeup intact all day—every time.

6. Rucy's Vanity Quad P200.00 (Available at the Candyloveart Studio located at Unit 809 KB Arizona Tower P Campa Street Sampaloc Manila)

My favorite eyeshadow quad for August because 1. it’s very pigmented, 2. the shades are perfect for everyday, 3. it’s super blendable and lastly, 4. it’s one of the most inexpensive yet good quality quads I’ve ever tried!

Belle Femme Beauty Campaign - Melody Tuliao Bonifacio

Hi everyone!

The first shooting for our beauty campaign Belle Femme was a success! Meet our first model, 29 year old Melody Tuliao Bonifacio!

This makeover surely brought back the alindog of Melody! We had a fun afternoon talking while doing her makeover! She is one incredibly SMART woman.

Joyce did an amazing job with her makeup! Her beauty was definitely enhanced without going over the top! Joyce used beautiful shades to complement Melody’s skin tone and products that would give her that beautiful glow. (Product list to follow)

Hair & Makeup of the Day (Thinly Lined Eyes, Lashes and Red Lips)

Hi everyone!

For today’s makeup look, I decided to use very minimal product on the face, yet still get that classic look by doing my eyeliner and sport red lips! This makeup look may not be new for most of you, but I have to say, that this is my favorite go-to look! For my hair, I did an easy side braid to add youthfulness to the entire look!

A step by step guide on how to achieve this look:

I used the ever so famous Rivecowe CC Cream. I love this CC Cream for its lightweight feel! It conceals all imperfections and leaves my skin looking radiant and not OVERLY white. It has a yellow undertone to it making it perfect for Filipinas. As you can see in the photos, the shade blends/matches with your own skintone as you apply it. I use my fingertips to be able to really blend it all in. This retails for P875.00 and you can order from 09179870285 :)

Since the Rivecowe CC Cream has a semi-matte, semi-dewy finish, I applied the Absynthe Happy Girls are the Prettiest Powder over it to set, and also get rid of the minimal dewiness (if you’re going for a total matte finish) The Happy Girls are the Prettiest Powder is one of my ABSOLUTE faves because 1) it has a yellow tone 2) it is finely milled, giving the skin a super smooth finish 3) it gives a cooling effect on the skin—totally refreshing on the face! I used my newest NYX Eyebrow Kit from https://www.facebook.com/shopatmakeupholics for my brows. I recently plucked all stray hairs so it was very easy to define my brows! I like that this kit’s stencils are very FLEXIBLE, not the usual hard, plastic-y types that we see. I’ll do a video on this soon!

I did not use much eye shadow for this look. I only used a matte crème shade from this MUA palette that I got from http://www.makeuphub.com.ph over primer. This will create a smooth, even color on the lids.

I lined my eyes using a brown liner from K Palette. https://www.facebook.com/kpalettephilippines Brown is a very subtle color and I tend to lean more towards this shade whenever I want a softer look.

Noticed the first photo from the left (above): the left eye looks more ‘complete’ than the right eye. How this happened? TIGHTLINING! It gives more definition to the eyes and makes your lashes appear fuller! I used the Eye of Horus Nubian Brown Goddess Pencil—the formulation of it is perfect! As always, curl your lashes and add mascara! I’m using the Say Lash Curler in Golden Goddess and the Benefit They’re Real mascara.

NARS Orgasm for the blush and highlights on the high points of the cheeks using my Naked Flushed Palette.

I lined my lips using Avon’s liner in Red Brick and topped it off with NYX Butter Lipstick in Mary Janes https://www.facebook.com/shopatmakeupholics Such a beautiful combination!

Now for my hair, it’s nothing fancy!

First, I applied the latest Vitress Solenn Hair Cuticle Coat to add shine and tame down baby hairs. (plus it smells AMAZING) Next, I parted my hair to the side and did a short side braid! And…that’s it!
