Hair & Makeup: Voice of McDonald’s (Cheenee & Margaret) @ Makati Shangri-la Hotel

Charlene of http://www.yellowyum.blogspot.com hired me as her assistant hair stylist for a makeup gig for McDonald’s PH singing sensations Cheenee Capuyan and Margaret Yu. The venue was held at Makati Shangri-la Hotel. Despite the heavy traffic, Achi Char & I were able to arrive, even 30 minutes later than the call time.We were led to a beautiful hotel room and we started setting up. Achi Char worked on Margaret’s makeup while I did Cheenee’s hair. Cheenee did not want her hair to be curled, so I gave her a pouf on the center and made a “bouquet” at the back.With Margaret, she wanted big, curly waves, almost diva-like. And it looked really perfect on her.Here is Margaret getting ready for her interview with the Rated K team.This is Cheenee Capuyan—and her voice is heavenly. No wonder she won 1.2 million pesos from the competition! Same goes with Margaret!It’s always a pleasure to work with Achi Char!I had to leave for school after the gig, but we were able to squeeze in a couple of group shots before I left.
