*Before anything else, I would like to greet all my
readers a Happy New Year!*
I had so much fun filming with my little sister that I asked her to model for me again. This time, I went all high fashion on her. I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and try something new. I really did not have any concept in mind. I just went with my instincts and came out with this gorgeous look. I am glad that all the clips were recorded and safely saved.
Before filming, I styled and curled her hair first with my JML Ceramic Hair Straightener. I wanted soft and elegant curls for her. True enough, her hairstyle matched her makeup and her outfit (which she put together herself) as well.
The three drawn-on lashes certainly created drama on the eyes. The colors gold and silver are definitely perfect for the New Year. I wanted to create a fuschia undertone but realized that it didn't matter if I applied it or not. The colors gold and silver showed up as is. As I told you, I was experimenting! (laughs) The usual contours on the nose and the face definitely enhanced my sister's features. For the lips, I wanted a deep reddish-plum with a hint of velvety texture. Before applying the dry E/S, I applied a super moisturizing lip balm which my sister simple adores because of its amazing moisturizing agent, water micro-spheres!
For the fashion part, you may have to visit my sister's site to read it. (http://www.thestyleprodigy.blogspot.com)

Love, Say
wow!I am loving the 2 toned lip color!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! what can i say but WOW:)) the lips sure looked fuller and i love the gradation to red to dark red to black. it had a 3D effect on the lips :)) good job, Say! and i totally love your sister's wedges! gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethe only flaw that i noticed was the false eyelashes.. you should've tightlined her eyes to make it look more natural and blended with her true lashes.. i can see a part of her lids on the close up photos eh.
but nonetheless this look is amazing. you and your sister should do more of this!:)
Happy new year!
Thanks Louise! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joice! Thank you so much! I know, she was afraid of tightlining and I allowed her to do it herself. It wasn't done perfectly, but ok lang. Haha we'll improve next time! Happy New Year as well!!! :)
Love it say!Love your sisters wedge shoes btw!Pa ask naman where nia buy?lol
ReplyDeleteAmanda, she bought it from SM Parisian line. :) Super daming maganda shoes there. Many of which are used during Philippine Fashion Week.
ReplyDeletethis is very nice! good job, say! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Miss Savealittle! :)
ReplyDeleteYour sis looks like Ciara Sotto! :)
ReplyDeleteomg! the after look....she looks nakakatakot. everything looks dark. parang pang-Halloween. she's prettier pa sa before pic. it's not fashionable. It's not even "high-end".
ReplyDeleteHi Janica! Thank you for that compliment! :)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, thank you for dropping your comment here. We all respect your opinion. :)
i find the make up too dark for your sister's feature.. since she already has strong feature, giving her really strong avant- garde thick make up will just make her look like a drag queen. she looks drag in most of the pictures especially the first "after" picture. but i must commend your technique say, the double winged technique is really innovative. looking forward to more make up blogs! have a great year ahead!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: Thank you for your comment! Have a great day as well. :)
